Florence Power Equipment is located in Florence Wisconsin. This business was opened by my wife (Shelly)and Myself (Russ) in February 2007. We have worked very hard to create relationships with several distributors, so that we can offer the right high quality parts that you need, at an affordable price.
My background as a mechanic goes back many years. I have been working as a mechanic for 25+years, but was playing with engines and equipment long before that.
I have worked for dealerships in Massachusettes where I was born and raised. I also worked as a deckhand, then engineer on tug boats in Boston Harbor and along the east coast. After returning home from the military where I was an aircraft mechanic, I studied and received my captains license. I worked as a Mate and then Captain on ship docking and coastal tug boats. I came out to Wisconsin on the invitation of family friends where I met the woman that is now my wife. We decided to open this business to provide high quality service, parts and accessories to the people in our local area. Since opening our doors in February 2007 we have seen our business grow and are now able to expand our services to a broader range of customers through the internet.
